Romantic Persian Wedding With Tuscan Views At Villa Le Fontanelle In Florence

Share

Perched among the rolling hills overlooking Florence, Ladan and Scott’s destination wedding at Villa Le Fontanelle seamlessly blended Persian tradition with the enduring romance of Tuscany. Inspired by the city’s rich artistic heritage, historic architecture, and breathtaking landscapes, the couple envisioned a celebration that felt elegant, intimate, and deeply personal.

Every element planned with Italy Wedding Planner and photographed by Katerina Kutas Photography reflected a thoughtful balance between refined European design and meaningful cultural traditions, creating an unforgettable wedding weekend that honored both place and heritage.

Rich green invitation suite

The invitation suite beautifully introduced the celebration’s refined Tuscan aesthetic. Rich green invitations made a striking first impression, while a custom watercolor illustration of the Florence skyline offered guests a glimpse of the destination awaiting them.

Elegant typography, luxurious paper textures, and thoughtful details like the custom gold wax seal reflected the timeless romance of Villa Le Fontanelle, creating a stationery suite that seamlessly blended Italian sophistication with the couple’s distinctive wedding vision.

Italian garden-inspired ceremony

The ceremony unfolded in the villa’s lush gardens, where the couple honored the bride’s Persian heritage with a traditional Persian wedding ceremony.

Surrounded by abundant florals and framed by the beauty of the Tuscan landscape, the setting offered a graceful blend of cultural significance and natural elegance. The historic villa and sweeping countryside provided a timeless backdrop, allowing the meaningful rituals to remain at the heart of the celebration.

Showstopping modern palette: white & green velvet

A romantic palette of white and blush florals from Sartoria Floreale softened the historic surroundings while enhancing the villa’s classic architecture using pops of green velvet decor.

Warm candlelight and gold accents echoed the glow of a Tuscan summer evening, while lush white floral arrangements introduced texture and movement throughout the ceremony and reception. The understated palette felt effortlessly refined, allowing both the venue and the surrounding landscape to shine.

Iconic pergola reception design

As the sun began to set over Florence, guests gathered beneath Villa Le Fontanelle’s iconic pergola for an intimate al fresco dinner overlooking the city.

A long table was illuminated by candlelight, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere as panoramic views stretched across the Tuscan hills. One of the celebration’s most distinctive design elements came through the use of deep green velvet chairs, which appeared during both the Persian ceremony and the reception. Their rich color introduced depth and sophistication, offering a beautiful contrast to the soft floral palette while subtly connecting each space.

The overall design embraced modern romance, pairing timeless elegance with the effortless charm of an Italian villa celebration.

A celebration inspired by Tuscany and tradition

Throughout the day, Ladan and Scott invited their guests to experience not only the beauty of Tuscany but also the significance of Persian wedding traditions.

From the garden ceremony to the candlelit dinner overlooking Florence, every transition felt intentional, creating an experience that celebrated family, culture, and place with equal care. The result was a destination wedding that felt both timeless and deeply personal—an elegant expression of two lives, two traditions, and one unforgettable celebration.
