The Vision: A Tuscan Fairytale
At Casale de Pasquinelli, a stone castle above Lucca with views of the Tuscan hills, James and Amira said, “I do.” The couple wanted the fairytale setting that also felt authentic and intimate. The couple’s vision came to life with help from the talented Lauren Portia Events. An autumnal color palette, the Tuscan sky, and soft candlelight set the tone for the day. The vows took place with 360 views of the rolling hills, the aperitif took place under an olive tree, and the dinner at the castle’s facade, before moving indoors to party the night away under the fairy lights on the dance floor with their closest friends and family. The wedding was everything they wanted: romantic, memorable, and meaningful for all their guests.

Getting Ready

Exposed beams, terracotta floors, and gilded chandeliers in the bridal suite were definitely serving fairytale vibes. With her mom by her side, the bride slipped into her gown as her groom put the finishing touches on his look in his own suite at the castle.

The Fashion

Amira was radiant in a beautifully fit crepe mermaid gown with lace accents and sheer detachable sleeves. She swept her blond waves back into a tousled updo and accessorized with a dramatic lace-trimmed veil. For their looks, the bridesmaids channeled the colors of the Tuscan countryside in shades of olive and sage. Jamey and his men leaned into the effortlessly chic, Italian vibes in tan suits.

Custom Details

It’s the little details that really make weddings unforgettable, and this one is no exception. Their adorable dogs, Moose and Beau, made a cameo on their cocktail napkins, and they had custom matchboxes for their guests to take home as cute and practical souvenirs.
A Traditional Italian Wedding Cake

For desserts, guests were treated to an Italian wedding tradition—a millefoglie, made right on site. The delicacy is made from layers of puff pastry and Italian custard and topped with fresh berries and a dusting of powdered sugar.
