It’s not February 14th yet, but whenever we see a whole list of bridesmaid gifts together (especially one that’s stacked - literally and figuratively - with lots of pink and a whole lot more love), we get Valentine’s Day, nay Galentine’s Day vibes. So, we figured it was as good a time as any to talk about some of our favorite bridesmaid gifts RN. Before we get to the goods, we wanted to remind you that bridesmaid gifts aren’t a mandate for every bride. That said, if you’ll be putting your girls (or guys, we’re neverrrr going to dismiss a bride’s guy) through the ringer for the duration of your engagement, it’s a nice gesture to thank them for all their help, love, and support. They were 6 years old once, they’re familiar with the ‘it’s the thought that counts’ thing, but a real live gift always goes a long way.
Now, traditionally, bridesmaids get their gifts at the rehearsal dinner or wedding morning, but we love it when brides sprinkle some pomp and presents into the
process. A bridesmaid mug here, a
there, it’s a fun time when you’re the bride, so if you can spread some of that special occasion pixie dust all over your squad and make them feel appreciated/honored to be a part of your ‘I Do’ crew, then absolutely do it. ((Don’t forget to
ask them with a handwritten note
, too, because scribed-out sentiments will be remembered forever - just like your
pretty wedding invitation
will be in the future)).
We’re loads impressed by the brides who are genius gifters - like seriously, ALL THE 🙌🙌🙌 to you ladies - but if coming up with cute, clever souvenirs for your sisters’ service isn’t exactly second nature to you, then you can definitely look into any number of online gifting sites that’ll do the heavy lifting for you. These meticulous merchandisers make it their mission to curate crates, boxes, baskets, and more with beyond-perfect items that truly say “THANK YOU, FRIEND. YOU’RE AMAZING AF.”
Here are a few of our faves
The Little Market
Luxe & Bloom
Marigold & Grey
White Confetti Box
(they’ve got the bridesmaid gifting thing down to a science)
These giftable goodies say it, too, you’ll just need to curate on your own. Rule of thumb, if you find yourself thinking ‘can I be my own bridesmaid??!?!!’ you probably have something pretty rad. All of the below definitely had us thinking that way….
