Hailing from the vibrant city of Sydney, Jennifer and Franco dreamed of a wedding that was more than just a ceremony—it was a homecoming. With Franco’s roots deeply embedded in Southern Italy, the couple chose to honor his heritage by hosting an unforgettable three-day destination wedding in the jewel of the Amalfi Coast: Ravello. In September, 100 of their closest family and friends traveled across the globe to witness a celebration planned with the help of ALBA All About Events that perfectly balanced “Dolce Vita” charm with high-end elegance.

Day one: “That’s Amore” welcome dinner
Captured by Gianni Di Natale Photographers and Edit Studio, the festivities kicked off at the rustic yet refined Trattoria da Lorenzo. The couple made a cinematic entrance, arriving in a sleek vintage red sports car that set the tone for the evening.

Guests were greeted with a garden aperitivo, followed by a dinner on the terrace that defined Italian romance. The mise en place was a tribute to the “That’s Amore” spirit, featuring long tables adorned with lush roses and flickering candlelight.

Day two: Dreaming in white
Jennifer and Franco exchanged vows in a traditional Catholic ceremony at the historic Duomo di Ravello.

Following the “I do’s,” the celebration moved to the iconic Belmond Hotel Caruso. The aesthetic was a masterclass in sophistication: a total white palette where thousands of roses and delicate orchids from The Florist Amalfi Coast transformed the space into a floral paradise.

Guests enjoyed an aperitivo under the olive trees of the Wagner Gardens, followed by a gourmet dinner overlooking the sparkling Mediterranean Sea.

The newlyweds held their first dance on the lawn before the bride changed into a showstopping lace bridal mini for the remainder of the evening.

Detail we love: after-dark energy shift
As night fell, the party moved to the breathtaking infinity pool, where a high-energy DJ set and an open bar kept guests dancing under the stars.

Day three: A gentle farewell
To wrap up the weekend, the newlyweds hosted an elegant recovery brunch under the shaded olive groves of the Wagner Gardens. In a relaxed yet chic atmosphere, guests enjoyed a true Italian feast featuring freshly made pizza, refreshing Aperol Spritz, and a selection of local specialties. It was the perfect, authentic farewell to a perfect weekend.
