Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona is one of our favorite places to visit, not only is there so much to do there (shopping, museums, beach, nightlife, tons and tons of food) but it is incredibly affordable. You’re able to stretch your dollar (actually Euro) incredibly far.
Even the hip and happening hotels are budget friendly. There are a ton of budget friendly hotels, like The Gates Diagonal Barcelona. A modern hotel, that is centrally located walking distance to anything you want to see. With an insanely beautiful rooftop buffet breakfast (included in your stay) you’ll be full all day as you take in all the sites that Barcelona has to offer. Korčula Island
Korčula Island in Croatia is the sixth largest island in Croatia. Only 20 miles long and extremely narrow. Korčula Island is a hidden honeymoon gem that we guarantee many have not heard of. It’s a bit more challenging to get to than the other islands, which means fewer crowds. Basically your own private honeymoon. Lots to do and see here, but mostly you can just relax and enjoy.
Believe it or not, this pink hotel room The Dragan’s Den is only $25 a night. Complete with free wifi, a pool and only a 12-minute walk to the beach.
Sirolo, Italy
First off I have never heard of Sirolo, but I am ready to go. It looks magical and the Portata di Mare is only $49 dollars a night and includes breakfast. After investigating further we found that a typical day is basking in the sun and then having a light dinner where you’d order up plates of antipasti, bowls of mussels and maybe a whole grilled snapper. The people are friendly, the beaches are beautiful and the accommodations are affordable. Those who have visited, say it’s one of those special places that you wish you could keep going back to you.
