Inspired by the Elevate venue at W Atlanta-Midtown, once a nightclub, and now an intimate event space; interior design details like a black mirrored ceiling, DJ booth made of records, and interesting lighting, gave us the direction we needed for this bold bridal shoot.
The bridal gown from Brides By Nona, offered plenty of drama with a starburst neckline created with authentic Swarovski crystals, master corsetry lending to one amazingly fitted bodice, and oversized ruffles with a cathedral length train.
Not to be outdone by this stunning bridal gown, the reception table brought its own full dose of drama! A towering cascading centerpiece in shades of pinks and purples flowed down to the table covered in a midnight shimmering linen. We took advantage of the columns in the space to add full garlands of black and silver balloons, from the ceiling to the floor.
While this might be too much for a full wedding design for some couples, there are definitely elements that can be adapted to real life. Like the photo backdrop for a fun spot where guests can take selfies or use as a photo booth. Floral cascading around the sofa is posh and romantic, but adding the pink heart neon sign takes it up a notch.
More of my couples are enjoying doing dessert displays instead of just a single wedding cake. This display allows the cake, a true work of art to shine in the center surrounded by delectable mini desserts easy to pick up by guests.
