The Venue

We discovered the Park Savoy Estate on Wedding Chicks during our venue search, and it ended up being the perfect venue choice for our guest count and Black-tie, garden theme. The Park Savoy team was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process—I’m planning to leave a detailed review on Wedding Chicks because our guests are still raving about their experience and the lavish cocktail hour.

The Vision: Timeless Pastels

Wedding Chicks was one of my go-to sources for design inspiration throughout the planning process. I curated countless screenshots from your featured weddings that I incorporated into my mood board and shared with my wedding planner during our design meetings. The real wedding features were also helpful for visualizing our own celebration and communicating our aesthetic vision to our planning team.

The afternoon sun filtered through the arched windows of the chapel as guests took their seats. The aisle was lined with lush pastel rose arrangements by Distinctive Event Design and culminated in a towering asymmetrical floral arch that framed the windows beautifully. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests made their way to the luxuriously appointed ballroom reception. Candlelight bounced off the crystal chandeliers casting a magical glow on the room. The floral arch was moved into the reception spaced and framed the sweetheart table, providing a perfect centerpiece.

Getting Ready

In the morning, the bride invited her ladies (even the littlest ones) to get ready with her in the bridal suite. She wore a crisp white pajama set embroidered with her new monogram and their wedding date. She surprised her bridal party with matching sage satin robes, monogrammed as well, with their names.

The Fashion

After two shopping experiences in NYC, I felt most supported by the team at Bridal Reflections, where I fell in love with several Leah Da Gloria gowns. They invited me to attend a Bridal Reflections x Leah Da Gloria fashion show during New York Bridal Fashion Week in 2025, and a few weeks later—during my birthday week—I returned and chose the dress I’d initially fallen for: the Leah Da Gloria Sara Gown.

I wanted a fitted silhouette, while my mom was eager to see me in a ballgown, so we found the perfect compromise with a Milla Nova Olimpia overskirt to complement the gown. This allowed me to have a dramatic ballgown look during the ceremony and then transition to my preferred fitted style for the reception. I loved how the combination felt both modern and traditional. And I loved that the overskirt allowed me to have two distinct bridal looks while keeping on my gown for the entire day. I also had the privilege of working with Vera Skenderis, the iconic former Alterations Manager at Kleinfeld Bridal (known from Say Yes to the Dress), who did the alterations for my gown. Her expertise made the fit absolutely perfect.
