Amanda and Matt’s story began in 2013. They built a friendship first, began dating in 2018, and were married in 2025. Both Brazilian and the youngest in their families, they share a deep devotion to tradition, family, and celebration. Their rescue pup, Molly, is central to their world and even inspired one of their signature cocktails! Their celebration took place at a private home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts — a close family friend’s estate that had been thoughtfully prepared for the occasion. The yard and garden were cultivated for a full year leading up to the wedding, transforming the property into a layered, immersive setting ultimately completed by Ebenezer Decor and photographed by Brianna Graca.

The bride carried white
Amanda carried a bouquet composed entirely of orchids, inspired by imagery she had saved over time, and intentionally requested that hers be the only fully white bouquet of the day to create a quiet focal point against the colorful floral palette.

Cocktail hour: a DIY bar experience
The reception carried that same sense of personality through thoughtful details. The bar featured three signature cocktails — Molly’s N/A Paloma inspired by their beloved dog, Amanda’s Espresso Martini, and Matt’s Tequila Mule. Amanda conceptualized and built the full bar experience herself, executing the project with remarkable clarity and intention while infusing the entire celebration with her personal touch.

Pinterest-worthy seating wall
Several DIY elements were woven throughout the celebration, including a custom seating installation inspired by a Pinterest vision that became an architectural statement anchoring the reception design. A playful oversized printed image of the couple cleverly concealed a playground in the yard and has since been repurposed into a keepsake blanket.

Detail with meaning: gold accents
Tablescapes were inspired by the landscape: natural yet chic, with bright florals balanced by warm gold accents. Gold felt instinctive to both Amanda and Matt, a nod to their Brazilian heritage and love for warmth over cooler metallics. Menu cards and handwritten thank-you notes added an intentional layer of hospitality.

Handcrafted faux wedding cake
The wedding cake itself was a handcrafted faux cake made in Brazil and shipped overseas, assembled by the decorator as a sculptural centerpiece layered with meaning. The cake served to guests featured strawberry and Brazilian white chocolate inside vanilla cake with creamy icing, light and celebratory for midsummer.
