bride and groom

This wedding is a pastel wonderland! From the invitations, to the menus, and even the seating chart you can see the inspiration for this wedding tied into every detail. This wedding was inspired by a dried flower wax seal from Keth Studio. 1800's Dutch Barn

After getting married in Hawaii on Magic Island a few years ago, they had yet to have the celebration surrounded by family and friends that they had always dreamt of. I'd say it was worth the wait on what we were able to create for them though! We embraced the brides favorite colors of pale pink, purple and blue and truly turned this family property into a pastel wonderland. The main backdrop for the day was the "party barn" which is an 1800s Dutch barn brought in from New York which the family remodeled.

We transformed it for the day with drapery. This allowed for the wood beams to still be exposed while covering the rare art that didn't match the theme of the wedding. The "party barn" was the setting for both the ceremony and reception which was flipped while the guest enjoyed cocktail hour outside along the "riverwalk". Which the gorgeous florals designed by Remi + Gold, it truly created a pastel wonderland during both the ceremony and reception.

Dried Flower Wax Seals

The bride, Gege, is from Peru and we knew we wanted to bring some of that into the day. We incorporated desserts from her heritage such as alfajores. My design was highly influenced by the dried flower wax seals from Keth Studio. I found them on Instagram and instantly fell in love and knew we needed to surround the design with these wax seals. From the invitations, menus and seating chart, we tied the wax seals in to all designs and further brought the dried floral inspiration in to the table numbers and wedding cake.
