From Corinne:For us, the Santa Rosa Beach is home to many of our defining happy moments, so naturally, this second home became the backdrop for the wedding we’d pictured in our minds.
Amidst the joy and excitement that guided Whitney and me down our year-long wedding planning adventure, existed jolts of concern about planning while living in different cities (Me being in Tallahassee and Whitney in Auburn), temperamental fall weather and the guarantee that the sun would melt into the night far too soon on the late fall day that the nuptials were set to occur.
By the eve of the wedding, we were encircled with close friends and family around a beachfront bonfire and were excited-beyond-worry about the upcoming day.
On November 23, 2013, we celebrated our love with the nearly 100 people to whom we credit the success of our relationship. The mutual appreciation that the we share with our guests shone through in each detail — from the hand-painted-by-friends photo-op of Whitney and myself “tying the knot” and band made up of close friends, to the southern fusion cuisine and custom brew bar menu – noteworthy moments transformed a windy, fall day into a dream wedding for us.
We flew to New York City just before Christmas to make our union official.
