the vibe: soft and romantic

Lauren and Kam’s wedding at Hamilton Place was a simple and chic spring affair. With a color palette of white and green accented by pops of pink, their celebration beautifully blended timeless elegance with personal touches. The couple chose Pursell Farms for its destination feel, allowing guests to enjoy a weekend of relaxation, from group tee times to the spa, while celebrating Lauren and Kam’s love. Lauren, inspired by the soft beauty of green hydrangeas and a custom garden trellis watercolor, worked closely with her planner to bring this vision to life. With the help of Kindred Weddings and Laurel and Sage Florals, this unique design inspiration found its way into every detail, including the vinyl-wrapped dance floor. The result was a fresh, charming atmosphere with impactful, welcoming details that made the day feel truly special.

the stationery

Inspired by the classic silhouettes of Wedgwood china the envelopes featured a unique scalloped edge. The invitations, themselves, were wrapped in a vellum cover featuring a watercolor painting of a climbing flower trellis, a nod to the timeless garden affair to come. The menus on the day of continued the theme with green calligraphy and a soft oval shape.

getting ready

In the comfort of her bridal suite, Lauren stepped into her gown. Beaming with joy and anticipation, she put the finishing touches on her look: pearl earrings and a delicate veil.

the fashion

Lauren selected a unique brocade gown with a floral texture from Ivory and White in a timeless mermaid silhouette. Her bridesmaids wore romantic blush gowns with dramatic, one-shouldered bow details, and the Maid of Honor stood apart in a strapless gown of the same shade. Even the guests got the memo, with all of them coordinating beautifully with the color palette. Coincidence? We think not! This is your sign to give your guests a color palette and dress code inspo page in your wedding invitation suite. Kam also looked quite dapper in a classic black suit.

the drinks

After the ceremony, guests were treated to lime martinis displayed on an elegant wall fixture. The bar also served Old-Fashioneds, a favorite of the groom.

trend alert: matchbox favors

Custom matchboxes are definitely this season’s hottest wedding favor. If you’re planning on these for your wedding, note how the couple incorporated their color palette and monogram into the design. We also love that they gave guests cigars so they could use their matches right then and there!
the cake

Displayed on a pillar sat a dramatic four-tiered classic white wedding cake decorated in sugar flowers. Let this be a reminder that your wedding cake can double as decor, so don’t be afraid to make a moment of it.
