Love Nora Adornments joined forces with Birds of a Feather Photography and Alicia Jayne Florals to create this stunning inspirational shoot. Overflowing with stunning florals, rustic wedding details and a waffle bar. All held at Flora Corner Farm, located in scenic eastern Maryland.

From Birds of a Feather Photography:Our floral designer also put great consideration into the design and construction of the Bride’s bouquets. They are both similar but not identical. In fact, Alicia constructed the bouquets to have stems branching out in opposite directions. When the two Brides stood together, holding their bouquets, they created an almost heart shape. The bouquets did not compete with one another for space, rather they fit together perfectly.
Our floral designer, Alicia Jayne Florals, did an outstanding job. She decided an old walnut tree would be the perfect spot for a ceremony. She designed and hung three floral wreaths in various sizes from a large tree branch. Our Brides said their vows under this tree. With the fields behind them, this was one of our favorite portions of the shoot.
We went with a laid back approach to food, and focused on what most southern Brides would want to serve at their wedding. Chicken and waffles with a variety of flavored syrups was the star of the show in terms of yummy treats. Sweet tea and lemonade were served in mason jars… naturally. And in place of a cake, an assortment of farm stand pies were assembled on various wooden crates. A few of Grandma’s hankies added a little vintage charm to this “cake table.”
The sweetheart table was also designed by Love Nora Adornments. The three vintage doors were hinged together to create a backdrop for our Brides. Moss covered initials marked their places at the table, and a floral wreath from the ceremony space was re-used on the center door.
Our furniture rental company and event designer, Love Nora Adornments, did a bulk of the work for this shoot. She constructed the food display table herself out of vintage saw horse legs, and repurposed barn wood planks. She also provided the furniture for and staged our “lounge” area during cocktails. An elegant and regal sofa was placed smack down in the middle of the wheat field. “End tables” were constructed out of wooden crates. This staging area was perfect for the majority of our Bride’s portraits.
