From Elisa Bricker:Inglewood Lavender Farm can be described as a little slice of Provence, nestled in the hills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Just south of Charlottesville, Virginia this beautiful farm boasts fields of lavender (with resident sheep!), a historic home and charming barn ruins.

The Rifle Paper Co. invitation suite was a perfect match for the lavender farm, as was our bridal party. A full lace bridal gown from Heidi Elnora and shades of purple bridesmaids by Joanna August created an elegant feel in the country setting. Shoes from Max Kibardin, jewels from local jeweler Angelo and stunning hair and make up by the ladies of Avenue 42 completed the look.

sparkling lavender Tom Collins

A lavender inspired signature cocktail and croquembouche constructed by Christa Garvis made for a sweet reception. A lounge space created with antique pieces from Paisley & Jade, would be a perfect late night spot to relax near the lavender. Below is a recipe for a similar cocktail that we know your guests would enjoy sipping on.
Sparkling Lavender Tom Collins For the Simple Syrup:
1 1/4 cup water
1 cup sugar
1 bunch lavender, buds, stems and leaves (or 3 Tb. dried culinary buds)
For each Tom Collins Cocktail:
1 oz. lavender simple syrup
1 oz. Meyer lemon juice (about 1/2 a lemon)
2 oz. gin ice club soda Directions:
Heat the water, sugar and lavender in a small pot of high heat. Bring to a low boil, then cover and remove from heat. Allow the simple syrup to steep for 20 minutes. Pour through a sieve to remove the lavender. Place in the fridge until you are ready to use.
For each cocktail: Fill a glass half way with ice. Pour the simple syrup, lemon juice and gin over ice. Stir, then top with club soda. For a martini-style Tom Collins: Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the simple syrup, lemon and gin. Cover and shake for 30-60 seconds, until frothy. Pour into a martini glass and add 1-2 oz. of club soda.

The french country feel  of the property inspired our shoot showcasing it as a lovely new event venue. Highlighting tones of purple and incorporating peach and green, we kept floral bouquets by The Arrangement Company loosely gathered and organic. The table was delicately set with tabletop items from Anthropologie and embellished with handwritten tags by Onastazia Designs.
