When we heard the vendor challenge for this Big Fake Wedding sponsored day was Donald Draper and the Mid-Century Modern style of MadMen we could hardly contain ourselves. And once you see the beautiful way Geena and Tommy’s Boulder wedding played with opposing light and dark, modern and vintage decor you will completely understand. The Couple
Geena and Tommy met traveling the world together on the World Race… On this volunteer mission trip, they went to 11 countries in 11 months serving the people in these locations. A year after returning from the trip, Geena and Tommy started dating and quickly fell in love! While on a hiking trip up Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona, Tommy switched from hiking clothes to a tux and got down on one knee! These two adventurers are now married living in Denver. We are so excited to celebrate these two tonight at The Big Fake Wedding Boulder!
Big Fake Wedding
Dark and light, Fire and ice, revealed and mystery. They say opposites attract, and that is exactly what this night is about. Vendors were asked to lean into the juxtaposition of colors here and to not be afraid to unleash their inner Don Draper, with mid-century modern inspired details and shadowy mystique.
