Glitz & Glam But Make It Low Key
For this New Year’s Eve styled shoot, we wanted to bring the glitz and glam but in a low key way. We decided shooting at a laundromat would be a fun, unexpected place to shoot and loved giving married couple Travis and Anna some fun new photos!
The bride wore a gold sequin gown that caught the light and reflected it back beautifully. We grounded the look by having the bride wear chunky black boots. She carried a bouquet full of flowers that were painted metallic silver and gold and covered in glitter. It was the perfect bouquet for a New Year’s Eve themed shoot. We also added a little glitter to her hair in keeping with the glitz and glam theme. The groom wore an all black look which balanced the bride’s glam look perfectly.
We had a great time at the laundromat and incorporated a rolling laundry basket into several of the shots for a fun touch. We also brought New Year’s Eve headbands and disco balls to add some glam. After that, we headed out to a snow covered field and shot in front of a modern square arch. We decorated the arch with New Year’s Eve decorations and got some amazing shots with the light reflecting on the bride from the disco ball. We also popped some confetti for some fun shots.
