How To Design Your Bedroom Around Your Bridal Style

how to design your bedroom around your bridal style

Have you noticed the amazing Jamie Wolfer video’s we have been posting lately? She has some awesome wedding advice in bite-sized clips that help break down some of the wedding mysteries. Recently she talked about how to style your wedding day, ( a big challenge for sure, if you missed it you can catch this video here). In that video, she talks about looking in your closet for inspiration. This got me thinking… could that advice work in reverse? Could your wedding style inspire your home decor??? Well to find out I hit up one of my very favorite home inspiration sites, Apartment Therapy. ( If you haven’t been there, prepare to fall in love as you fall into a house tour hole for half a day ).

Scroll down to see 19 wedding themes and their matching bedroom decor. Let us know… what does your wedding style say about you and your home decor?

1. Romantic

A fairly simple theme, that might describe just about all weddings… but this lovely Romantic Garden Wedding Inspiration photographed by Carlos Lucca seems to hit all the high points.

2. Modern/Industrial

A unique style for sure, but one I always appreciate. Does your venue have exposed pipes and/or air ducts? Is there a brick wall or two? you might just want to embrace that modern industrial style. For more ideas, I recommend looking at these Industrial Romance Wedding Ideas at Events On Jackson in Arizona, beautifully captured by Mindy DeLuca Photography.

Tradition is great and formality has its place, but when it comes to the bedroom I love a splash of whimsy to go with these two austere themes. I mean no disrespect with this wedding theme, I for one will cop to some very hipster tendencies of my own. If this sounds a bit like you then you are in for a treat with this Modern Boho Chic Wedding At The cellar And Loft At Mission Brewery, photographed by Mr and Mrs Wedding Duo.
