Their Love Story
Their story began at a high school dance when they were only sixteen. What started as a teenage romance turned into a decade-long love story that endured years of long distance through undergrad, med school, and residency. Their devotion never wavered. Samantha, crowned Miss Washington USA in 2023 and later a Miss America Pageant competitor, is now a Doctor of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology. Jack, equally accomplished, recently began his residency in Anesthesiology. Their achievements made this day even more meaningful, a celebration of not only their love but also their unwavering support for one another.
The Vision: Timeless Elegance
Curated by Grace + White, the wedding design was timeless and classic with elegant touches of French blue woven throughout. From the delicate florals by Twiggs Floral Design to the refined reception details, the design blended seamlessly with the lush greens of Del Paso Country Club. Every element spoke to sophistication, grace, and beauty. Guests witnessed heartfelt vows followed by a celebration filled with joy and laughter. As Northern California wedding planners, we love creating days that are more than just beautiful; they tell a story. Samantha’s and Jack’s wedding did exactly that.
The Fashion
Samantha fell in love with a voluminous ballgown—a fitted strapless bodice that culminated in three tiers of ruffles. But it didn’t stop there! After the ceremony, she was whisked away by her besties for the big reveal—an adorable bubble mini dress that had been hiding under there the whole time! She paired the playful look with tulle opera gloves and swept her long blonde hair into a sleek updo. Her bridesmaids brought in the blue from the color palette in a beautiful array of ruffled pastel blue dresses. Jack and his men went classic for the black-tie affair, sporting timeless black tuxedos.
The Cake
We are noticing a lot of couples opting for small cakes, just for them, and individual plated desserts for their guests. The couple kept the cake sweet and simple—a single tier, decorated in Lambeth-style buttercream, and topped with “Just Married.”
