Susy and Gianfranco hosted their wedding at Anantara Convento di Amalfi after meticulous research to find what could best represent them as a couple. They aimed to harmonize two potentially contrasting elements: modernity and tradition. In particular, they found the antiquity in the magnificent cloister and the ancient Chapel of San Francesco where the religious ceremony took place. The location, a convent in Amalfi originally home to Capuchin monks, perfectly embodied their desired essence. Modernity, on the other hand, was a defining feature of the hotel interiors from the rooms to the bar area, the restaurant, and the infinity pool with its breathtaking view of Amalfi. Captured by Katerina Kutas Photography and Alessio De Felice, and planned with the detailed help of Elia Ambrosio, this effortlessly elegant wedding is a must-see with perfect details from start to finish.

Intimate wedding with 60 guests
Susy and Gianfranco decided to celebrate with an intimate wedding that included only close family and friends, totaling 60 guests in all. In Italy, especially in Naples, large weddings are still the norm, so this option to go smaller gave the couple a bit of a unique experience.

Custom designs & high-end tailoring
Both the bride and groom opted for high-end tailoring for their outfits. The bride’s first dress was custom designed by Francesca Piccini and embodied the pinnacle of Italian tradition. Susy’s second dress was also custom made by Bencivenga Alta Sartoria. The highly skilled seamstresses created something festive and undoubtedly more modern as a nod to the other half of their inspiration. Groom Gianfranco’s suits were also tailored to perfection by Bencivenga Alta Sartoria.
