This vibrant, colorful, and edgy wedding shoot is the perfect inspo for any bride looking for something fresh, unique, and fun. Utilizing the entire property of the Hacienda, the vendor team put together a full-scale wedding production to host an intimate celebration. The bride donned two different looks: One with a more edgy and modern twist, and another with a more traditional Mexican nod. This juxtaposition of modern-meets-traditional carried throughout the entire event. Planned with the help of Mango Weddings and Events, and captured on camera by Luxart Wedding Studio, this wedding inspo at Hacienda Chuntuac is an absolute must-see for anyone looking to plan a timeless tropical destination wedding.

Color inspo: muted teal + terracotta
Muted teal and terracotta invitations by Weddings Creative Labs set the tone for this elegant and Mexican-inspired destination wedding.

Sparkling floral ceremony arch
For the ceremony, the bride donned a classic strapless chiffon gown with a timelessly trendy hair bow accessory. The ceremony arch took a unique turn with hanging gold foil streamers that vibrated and sparkled in the sun. The asymmetrical floral accent was created using stunning mauve orchids, tropical greenery, and plenty of other lush, deep-toned flowers thanks to Vanessa James Floral Design.

Tropical florals + dried pampas accents
For a second ceremony inspo, the bride wore a light pink off-the-shoulder dress with floral accents, while the groom wore a very light, almost off-white suit with a tropical boutonniere. Tropical and dried pampas floral columns stood on either side of the altar area, while rattan baskets provided a unique extra decor element.

Traditional bar with a tropical twist
Guests enjoyed two different bar set ups (because who doesn’t love extra bars?!) and plenty of lounge areas to choose from. One of the bars carried the tropical theme through to cocktail hour with its blue-themed imagery featuring muted toucans and cacti accents.

Tranquil settings and ambient lighting
The poolside set up was perfect for a tranquil setup by the water, while the tables set at the Hacienda patio and under the trees a better ambiance for a lively party under the stars and plenty of twinkling lanterns.

Moody vibes with charm
Hanging lights draped from the twisted trees, and florals hung down from the branches at night for a unique decor pairing. The reception color palette continued with a nod to the ceremony florals playing off of deep maroons, dark blues, neutrals, and mustard yellow. Black chairs around the table created a moody vibe to the event.

Unique cake cutting (with a heel!)
The most unique detail of the shoot was the twist on a cake cutting. With a small cherry-topped white cake, the couple did a “smash” rather than a traditional cake “cutting.” The bride’s heel into the cake was just the right party-girl move for a fun spin on this classic tradition.
