Geometric Jewish Wedding: Modern Decor & Acrylic Details

Share

Elegant floral wedding arch with red and gold decor

Ilya and Veronica’s wedding is an excellent example of a consistent wedding themeTandem Weddings worked with the couple to create a traditional Jewish wedding with trendy, modern decor. They set the tone of the day by sending out bold and modern wedding invitations on acrylic paper. The on-trend invitations had scalene, and obtuse triangles in shades of oranges and reds flushed to the corners of invites. You can see the invites below.

Read on to see how Tandem Weddings incorporated these same shapes throughout Ilya and Veronica’s wedding.  Nastya Belskaya photographed their day. You can view all of the photos in the full gallery here.

YAMIKA WEDDING FAVORS

Didn’t bring your Yamkia? No problem. If you need a Yamika, there were custom printed Yamikas with a silhouette of a couple in gold that men could take.

MODERN HUPPAH

Tandem Weddings created this modern wedding huppah that was a direct reflection of the acrylic wedding invites. A gold structure was built with a geometric fabric backdrop that was similar to the couple’s invite. The design team placed orange, yellow, peach, and red acrylic shapes on each side of the huppah. After the wedding ceremony and reception, the backdrop was used as a photo booth.

Tandem Weddings selected acrylic chairs for the wedding guests to sit on while watching the ceremony to keep with the acrylic theme.

Keeping With The Wedding Theme

The seating chart and wedding menus use the same design that we saw on the wedding stationery. The table’s napkins were all folded in a loose right triangle to stay with the consistent theme.

Acrylic Table Numbers

The table numbers were bright orange equilateral triangles. The same shapes and colors that were used on the invites, huppah, seating chart, and menus.

Replica Wedding Cake

Tandem Weddings kept with the theme to the very end. A wedding cake was made in the shape of the rooftop of the restaurant, where the whole event took place.

The cake even included the geometric huppah. It also had tiny figurines of the newlyweds and the Rabbi placed inside.
