Big is back in a BIG way! We love a minimalist modern wedding as much as the next blog, but it is hard to put into words how pumped we are about maximalism coming back around on the carousel of fashion! Big sleeves, big trains, big veils, big flowers…bring it on! By sticking with a mostly neutral color palette and a timeless venue, this over-the-top Tuscan-inspired wedding still keeps it classy.
The warmth in these photos by Theel Wedding Productions seriously does give them that under the Tuscan sun-kissed look with the help of makeup artist Angelique Cerniglia. Dee Lee Designs orchestrated this lovely wedding inspiration shoot and Ramona Florals created all of these delectable floral arrangements that are pretty enough to eat! THE ESSENCE OF ITALY
Cielo Farms was the perfect setting for this Tuscan-inspired shoot. Imagine the panoramic view of the rolling hills of Malibu and the Tuscan architecture that created an old-world European ambiance. Theel Wedding Productions captured and emulated the essence of an Italian countryside wedding.
RARE FINDS
Ramona Florals curated the flowers to reflect a romantic, ethereal look. She used rare blooms such as parrot tulips that are whimsically shaped and have frilly petals. For sustainability, she incorporated locally grown roses. The color palette complemented the earthy tones of the stone exterior walls. Borrowed BLU, a luxury tabletop rental company, provided the perfect balance between modern and vintage dinnerware. It was a beautiful enhancement to the table. The yellow cheesecloth table runners gave the tablescape color and texture while creating a sense of elegance.
The dress by Eleanor’s Bridal and veil by Over the Moon Bridal was light and airy. It was very whimsical to match the soft. romantic, ethereal vibe. Our groom was styled by Slim Styles in a white textured suit.
DELICIOUS ADDITIONS
We took a simple cake and dressed it up with florals and macarons. Our invitation suite and stationery, by Juniper Calligraphy, was handmade paper, dyed in Tumeric powder to match the warm color palette of the shoot. Stems CA created a visually appealing, too pretty to eat charcuterie board that consisted of rose-shaped artisan cheeses, cured meats, and fruits.
