MICRO WEDDING = MACRO DESIGN OPPORTUNITIES
We can’t say enough about the design opportunities when it comes to planning a micro wedding. Despite a smaller guest count, micro weddings pack a punch with macro style because your budget is able to stretch farther, touching every possible design detail.
The team at Love by Lynzie went all out for this modern and fresh editorial micro wedding shoot. Combining bold and neutral tones, this explosion of color-blocking is cemented with clean and crisp lines, natural and organic textures, and modern details. We paired bold blooms with a muted color scheme and used lots of textures to give this shoot depth, like grass charger plates, velvet fabrics, and linen napkins.
Color-blocking was a huge part of bringing a modern edge to the design. Colors were grouped together in clusters and transitioned horizontally as you move through different elements of the design. Overall, we wanted this to be a creative shoot but also a realistic one. The tablescape was set for 16 guests-a true micro wedding!
THAT’S A WRAP…LITERALLY
We were extremely inspired by string art and the various ways you can incorporate it into design elements. It was an anchor that connected the different vignettes and brought cohesiveness to each detail; from the yarn-wrapped ceremony lamps to the hanging pendants, to the table runner and even menu details. Every element that involved yarn was hand-wrapped by our team, dedicating 100+ hours to ensuring our vision was brought to life!
