The inspiration behind this style shoot started with BLoved Events‘ love for all things Kate Spade. When you think of Kate Spade New York, the following words come to mind – fun, colorful, and of course black and white stripes and polka dots!
The Richmond was the perfect modern venue for the shoot. It was a lovely blank canvas that showcased the bright bold colors of Kate Spade. Trust us, you won’t want to miss even the smallest detail from this modern designer inspired wedding shoot.
I added pops of gold in addition to the black and white, some glitter, and fun colors to tie it altogether in a chic and swanky way. The table setting came together perfectly with the gold sequin linen and the black and white striped table runner, paired with the beautiful bright florals in gold vases from Coquette Studios. We placed each plate with a napkin secured with black and white striped ribbon to create a bow.
We further showcased bows by using Kate Spade pushpins on the seating chart and throughout the treats on the dessert table. Our sweets table and 4-tiered cake was designed by the talented SweeterE that also featured and incorporated our theme. Alicia Thurston Photography captured the editorial style of shoot beautifully, and tied everything together just the way I envisioned it.
