Vintage Dress & Antique Details

From the parents of the Bride: Our daughter’s vision for creating a wedding of simple and vintage elegance continued with the selection of her breath-taking, custom made, designer dress. The dress beautifully complemented our daughter’s tasteful accessories

we spent several months prior to the wedding rummaging through thrift, specialty and antique stores all over Florida to uncover and acquire the perfect pieces that would become part of the backdrop for this memorable day. One find was a vintage, upholstered rocker tucked under the pines composed a lovely setting to honor the groom’s late mother.

Lakeside Venue

A newly constructed, lakefront home positioned on a gorgeous 30-acre parcel; served as the perfect venue. Since this was a home and not an event center, it brought with it special challenges as everything had to be brought in and taken away: tables, chairs, linens, vignettes and accouterments, lighting, sound systems, dance floor, potted plants and all the wedding furnishings.

Light Up The Night

bistro lighting strung over the backyard from the house to the trees, tree trunks wrapped with lights, landscape uplights and cream colored, internally lit, paper lanterns installed in the back drop of the pine trees, an antique settee used as seating for the bride and groom.

The cool evening temperature initiated an opportunity for a bonfire originally lit for warmth, but by grace, created wonderful backlit photo ops.
