If you’re getting married in San Diego, you’re having a waterfront ceremony. Just look at it! The sunlight sparkling off of the bay framed by towering tropical palms, it just doesn’t get any better. And Mission Bay Resort actually has two stunning waterfront venues. “The Beach”, as you can imagine, is a private slice of San Diego’s white powder-soft sand beachline, the perfect spot to tie the knot. If you want the beachy feels without the sand, an outdoor ceremony in the Garden by the Bay is the way to go!

After your beachside ceremony, we recommend moving to the Solarisa, with views of the boardwalk and Mission Bay, for cocktail hour, then really getting the party started with a reception in their Bayside Terrace. With room for up to 600 guests, the terrace allows you and your guests to dance and dine under the stars. With a canopy of tropical trees and a garden waterfall, you can keep the beachy vibes going all night long. Dreaming of a ballroom wedding or just want a plan B in case of rain? Well, Mission Bay Resort has three stunning ballrooms each with their own totally distinct design. The Terrazza Ballroom is elegant and modern with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the resort pool and bay. Natural light pours giving the space a crisp airy look. Big wedding? With its 16’ vaulted ceiling and Italian glass chandeliers, the International Ballroom can fit up to 700 guests for a seated dinner! For a more romantic, vintage-inspired wedding, the elegant Mediterranean Ballroom features French doors and cascading chandeliers and can host anywhere from 50-230 guests.
