I was inspired to do a Christmas themed shoot as it is such a romantic time of year and picking your own Christmas tree can be such a special memory. To celebrate being engaged in a winter state was the goal, having a beautiful set up where it is quiet, and Kelly's Tree Farm not yet being open, allowed for a certain mood to be set that was unlike having the event elsewhere.

The snow had fallen the day before and definitely surprised us, yet living in the Midwest I wanted to incorporate it into the shoot as much as possible! The sled thus came into play as the sweets table, as well as the blanket and hot chocolate to keep cozy and warm! The snow is not for the faint of heart and having it fall the day before the shoot set the theme and really made the shoot one of a kind
