Baby It’s Cold Outside, So Let’s Have An Engagement Shoot!
Winter may not be most peoples favorite season but, boy does it make for some incredible photo ops. And with a cute couple like Leanne and Joshua all you need to do is add two beautiful white horses and let the magic happen amidst the floating snowflakes.
You can see the whole winter wonderland shoot in our slideshow. You will really want to check out all the cute ideas these two had for their engagement session. And all the photos are so perfect thanks to the talents of Samantha Ong Photography!

From the bride: I wanted to do a winter engagement session because we were already getting married in the fall so I wanted something different. My sister suggested it, saying it would be so pretty with snow-covered trees. So I started thinking of locations and that's when I thought of the Forest where I horseback ride. It's so beautiful in the winter. And because of that forest, I wanted to do a little something different so I thought of incorporating the horses I ride. It was actually perfect because Ronin and Juno are so similar it was a perfect match, just like Josh and I are.

From Samantha Ong Photography: Leanne and Joshua have known each other since they were little. Having grown up in the same neighborhood, they went to the same school. Leanne grew up with a love for horses and rode almost every week. Recently, Joshua and Leanne moved to Calgary for work but flew back to Toronto during the holidays to be with family. Since they were only in town for a few days, we had limited time to shoot their winter engagement session. But lucky for us, we had the perfect snow day with lots of beautiful fresh white snow!

Leanne went back to the stables she usually rides at and we were blessed with two gorgeous white horses, Ronan and Juno! The combination of the beautiful fresh white snow, the magical forest, the stunning pair of white horses and such a gorgeous couple, made it such a dream shoot! Both Ronan and Juno were amazing to work with and they were so photogenic! They did everything I could have asked for and I didn’t want to stop photographing them!
