Their meet cute story

Amanda and Scott had their own meet-cute on Halloween night. Amanda tagged along to a friend’s costume party. After making the rounds at the party, Amanda spotted Scott and his friend. She proposed that they play a game of cornhole and, throughout the match, asked Scott a series of playful “get to know you” type questions. Enjoying their conversation, Scott walked Amanda home that night, where they shared their first kiss. They were together from that point forward. Amanda had an inkling that Scott might propose as they set off for a trip to the East Coast. She patiently waited as they traveled from destination to destination, still without a ring. While in South Carolina, they went on a spontaneous sunset walk to the waterfront, where Scott got down on one knee.

Wedding style and wedding decor

Embracing the season in which they first met, this couple’s October celebration turned a romantic California wedding into a moodier, edgier affair. The Mount Palomar Winery in the heart of Temecula wine country provided an incredible outdoor vineyard setting. Guests gathered on the stunning outdoor patio perched high atop the hillside. Pillars beautifully framed the ceremony, hung with florals, which led to an expanse of farmland in the distance. The couple’s looks embraced traditional wedding fashion with a bit of an edge, matched by their bold personalities.

Amanda wore a romantic gown by Grace Loves Lace with cape-like sleeves and an open back detail. She accessorized with fringed pearl earrings and a delicately coordinating back necklace. Scott wore a navy blue suit, and together, the couple playfully walked through the vineyards and wine cellars, posing from behind their sunglasses. Setting the tone for their reception, A DIY neon sign hung that read “Till Death Do You Party.” Fluffy fall arrangements included a mix of ferns, eucalyptus, roses, and wildflowers. The florals and decor incorporated pops of deep burgundy tones, gold, and black, as they even revealed a black wedding cake with a stylish pop of florals tucked to one side.
