Californian coastal wedding fashion
The bride and groom’s romantic elopement was styled beautifully in Buffy’s unique, bohemian wedding dress and Brett’s navy subtly pinstriped suit with a pop of color. With the national park offering both forest and ocean, their apparel perfectly suited the Californian backdrop!
The cascading magenta florals were such a playful way to add vibrance to the entire day!
Brett’s unique and dashing blue suit is from Hart Schaffner Marx – you can get his look for $795.
Buffy’s bohemian and ethereal lace gown is from Grace Loves Lace. This gown is the Verdelle dress – which you can wear for $1900. Our favorite thing about this gown is the cape-style lace sleeves!
Intimate redwoods ceremony
Brett and Buffy’s wedding day started with their private ceremony in the Big Sur redwoods. After over 10 years together and putting others ahead of themselves, their heartfelt elopement was the culmination of a day created entirely for themselves. So much of what inspires couples to choose to elope or hold an intimate wedding was reflected in this ceremony!
Their ceremony in the golden-lit forest was officiated by Denise Adkins from Simply Eloped.

Romantic oceanside picnic for two
After sharing their vows to each other and the Californian redwoods, Brett and Buffy were ready for a charming beach picnic. Big Sur is known for its breathtaking cliffs and stunningly blue waters – the ideal location for newlywed portraits & a micro reception for two.
The newlyweds soaked in the sunset with cocktails & cake at this gorgeous sweetheart table. Their photographers loved this luxurious beach picnic set up, saying:
“We loved the bright, inviting, boho feel of their set-up! This elopement was one of our favorites to date. Brett and Buffy are so warm, funny, and obviously head-over-heels for each other. We had SO much fun being part of their wedding day!”
