Janie and Sam’s entire wedding weekend at Old Town Club was filled with personal, joy-filled moments. The biggest “unexpected” element was how the bride’s background in retail and merchandising sparked a full-blown design moment: bold pinks, playful leopard print, and layers of color that became the heartbeat of the celebration. Guests kept saying they’d never seen a wedding so full of personality — planned with the help of Katharine Mann Events and photographed by Megan Sheppard Photography, it felt like stepping into the bride’s brain in the best, most vibrant way.

Paper goods: custom, elevated, and bold
Every element of the paper goods for the day was customized and colorful with a focus on elevated whimsy.

Details we love: bold guest fashion
Guests showed up in their most colorful attire without even being prompted, which made the whole day feel even more alive.

Classic bridal style with a statement bow
Janie’s classic bridal style with bow detail stood out against the bold, colorful backdrop of her bridesmaids and wedding design.

Bright pink bridesmaids
Janie opted for her wedding party to wear bright pink floor-length dresses in a variety of styles. One of our favorites was the scalloped edge strapless dress!

Classic groomsmen style
Similarly to Janie, the groomsmen opted for classic black bowtie style to stand out against the colorful patterned backdrop.

Gold-centered ceremony
While the reception featured a bold, colorful style, the couple opted to let the cathedral speak for itself and only brought in two altar arrangements by Green Bee Floral to act as a nod to the palette of their day.

Detail we love: playing with patterns
One of the sweetest special touches was how many personalized details were woven in — from custom signage and patterned accents to accessories that echoed Janie’s love of statement pieces.

Designer moment: themed bar stations
Guests enjoyed stations in blue, pink, and green with customized straws, themed accessories, and plenty of patterns.

Bold and playful cake table design
The wedding cake table was equally as bold and playful with floral accents, a geometric backdrop, and a watercolor floral table linen.
