Despite selecting the desert city of Las Vegas for their destination wedding, this couple dreamed of getting married in a lush outdoor space surrounded by fresh flowers and their loved ones. While they're definitely hotter than hot during most times of the year, if you get in that sweet spot, deserts can be surprisingly temperate and you don't have to worry about it raining on your big day. They also knew that they wanted some serious entertainment for their guests. They went with live musicians for their ceremony and cocktail hour and then switched things up with a DJ to help everyone dance the night away at the reception. The groom's dad is Toby Keith, so the bar was set pretty high!
I Do Details Weddings & Events understood their vision from the beginning and brought their dream wedding to life. The venue already had a beautiful green space, but the dramatic floral floor arch by Javier Valentino completely transformed the lawn for the ceremony. We love these bright sun-drenched portraits by KGC Photography that perfectly capture the love between these two. High school sweethearts, Haley and Stelen decided they wanted a destination wedding and chose Vegas because they both travel here often and always enjoy themselves! They hired a wedding planner, Lia with I Do Details Weddings & Events, and she recommended Cascata Golf Club in Boulder City. It's located just thirty minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and set in the scenic foothills of the River Mountain Range. When the couple travels to Vegas, they always stay at the Wynn. So, they kicked off their wedding weekend with their rehearsal dinner at SW at the Wynn. The couple got ready at the Wynn the morning of their wedding and headed out to Cascata for their first look! Haley's friend from Oklahoma, and photographer, KGC Photography captured their wedding day perfectly.
Florals were very important to the bride, and Javier Valentino sure delivered. We did not want to take away from the beauty that is Cascata, so we decided on a lush ground floral arch that surrounded the couple as they exchanged vows. This installation stayed in place all night so guests used this space as a photo op throughout the night. Javier Valentino covered the chandeliers in the reception space with heavy greenery and did a mix of high and low centerpieces. The couple wanted a sweetheart backdrop and Javier created a massive greenery wall that included a neon sign that said "The Covels." This made for an awesome focal point as you entered into the reception. Stationery extraordinaire, She Paperie carried the couple's monogram throughout the paper goods for their wedding. From the invitations and the oversized seating chart to the dinner menu and the drink stirrers–no detail was missed. Guests enjoyed the couple's signature drinks, The Riz & The Dodger, named after Haley + Stelen's dogs.
With Stelen's dad being country superstar, Toby Keith, entertainment was important to the groom. For the ceremony, Premiere Wedding Music provided a trio of strings. Local musician, John Allred played acoustic guitar and sang for cocktail hour. Local DJ, Shai Peri kept the party going all night long! We tried to utilize both the indoors and outdoors, so we placed their dance floor right outside of the reception space! LA-Based Mirmir Photo made their way out to Boulder City for a unique photographic experience for the reception, each guest received a clean black and white portrait! The reception ended with mini pretzel bites and a sparkler send-off! It truly was a night to remember.
