For this epic “Under the Sea” themed spectacular in Malaysia, Nuansa Concept and The Peak Xperience joined forces to bring one couple’s incredible vision to life. From the coral-inspired floral installations to the immersive light show, this couple transported their guests to a world of whimsy and imagination. This Couple Wanted to get Married Under the Sea–the Planner Delivered
the vision: under the sea
Melvin and Mico envisioned an enchanting “Under the Sea” theme for their wedding. The celebration seamlessly blended technology and design, creating an immersive underwater experience. Guests were welcomed through a breathtaking 40-meter-long LED tunnel, leading to a foyer inspired by The Little Mermaid, bursting with vibrant coral hues. Inside the ballroom, the ambiance shifted to a mystical deep-sea palace with moody shades of blue, black, and white. Two towering LED pillars and seven LED screens transformed the space into a mesmerizing marine dreamscape.

Within Theoccasions is the genius behind these larger-than-life ocean-inspired floral installations. We tried to squeeze them all into this post, but we literally lost count–that’s how many there were! Every single arrangement is more mesmerizing than the last.
the invitations
The experience started when this stunning vintage-invitation suite arrived in the guests’ mailboxes. With hand-drawn calligraphy and deckled edges, they’re giving ‘message in a bottle’ vibes.
the entertainment
The night unfolded with a dazzling light show, live performances from Hong Kong headliners, and an afterparty that lasted until 3 AM, complete with a late-night Malaysian supper. Every detail was meticulously curated, from the seven-course dinner presentation to the scripts, menus, and costumes for the event’s performers. Through seamless collaboration with the Peak Xperience team and bold creativity from the bride & groom, this wedding was a breathtaking deep-sea fantasy brought to life.
the dessert
Does this castle cake ring any bells? For our ’90s babies, it should, because it’s totally modeled after Ariel’s castle! And with a guest count this large, you need more than one dessert, so the couple treated guests to beach-themed soft-serve ice cream and fish-stamped ice cream sandwiches!
