Their Love Story

Neal and Daniel’s story started just down the street from one another in 2019—beer and wine, worlds colliding in the most fitting way. What began as casual proximity turned into something steady and sure, a relationship built on shared taste, humor, and an ease that made everything feel natural from the start. By the time their wedding day arrived, there was no dramatic flair needed. It was simply two men completely certain about the life they were choosing together.

The Vision: Autumn At The Lodge

Designed and planned by Sapphire Celebrations and set against the crisp backdrop of fall at The Broadmoor, their celebration carried an elegant western spirit with rich seasonal tones woven throughout. Nearly every guest stayed at the resort, turning the entire weekend into a collision of hugs in hallways and spontaneous late-night chats. They walked each other down an aisle lined with warm autumn arrangements by Hutson Floral Design, a moment that felt both grounded and powerful.

Cocktail hour unfolded on an outdoor patio dotted with cow print tablecloths for a pop of personality, while inside, a chandelier wrapped in draping greenery framed the reception space in soft romance. Dinner leaned into the season with soup instead of salad, and dessert brought out cannolis and carrot cake.

Getting Ready

The two grooms savored a quiet mountain morning together at the lodge, leisurly dressing for the day and spending quality time with their loved ones. The two opted for matching black tuxedos for the big day.

The Ceremony

Breaking with tradition, neither groom waited for the other to grace the aisle. Instead, they walked down the aisle into their happily ever after hand in hand. Framed by the fall foliage and all of their favorite people, the two exchanged heartfelt vows, and then, it was time to celebrate!

The Party

Between stunning portraits in an old-school car and a live band that had everyone waving giant glow sticks on the dance floor, the night was full of fun. And somewhere between the nerves fading and the music swelling, it became clear: this wasn’t just a beautiful wedding but a celebration that felt unapologetically true to them.
