After 17 years together, Luis and David knew their wedding needed to tell a story.

Floral design by Mercado Floristas became one of the most important tools for transforming the estate.
Rather than using highly structured arrangements, Luis and David embraced a wild, naturalistic approach. Organic forms softened the architecture and brought movement into the historic surroundings, creating an atmosphere that felt slightly untamed and dreamlike.

Cocktail hour introduced guests to two very different musical worlds.
In a traditional Andalusian courtyard, Spanish copla set the mood, with inspiration drawn from icons including Lola Flores, Estrellita Castro, and Concha Piquer. The music connected the celebration directly to its Spanish setting and created an atmosphere rooted in nostalgia and tradition.
Just steps away, however, an entirely different experience was waiting.
Funk and soul took over the poolside
While folkloric sounds filled the courtyard, LNita DJ created a contrasting soundtrack beside the pool with funk and soul.
The two musical environments existed simultaneously, allowing guests to move freely between them. One space felt rooted in Andalusian tradition, while the other introduced a more contemporary rhythm.
Rather than forcing those influences into a single aesthetic, Luis and David embraced the contrast. Two energies and two soundtracks became complementary scenes within the same larger story.
A theatrical first dance brought pop culture to the reception
As the celebration progressed, performance became increasingly important.
Luis and David approached their first dance with the same theatrical sensibility that shaped the rest of the wedding, creating a performance inspired by pop culture rather than treating the moment as a conventional slow dance.

A drag performer arrived with Roscón de Reyes
One of the evening’s biggest surprises combined performance with another unexpected cultural reference.

The soundtrack moved from Sufjan Stevens to Spanish folklore
Music helped connect each act of the celebration. The ceremony included emotional selections from artists including Sufjan Stevens, Calum Scott, Amaia, and Gracie Abrams. From there, the soundtrack transitioned into Spanish copla in the courtyard and funk and soul beside the pool.
Each change in music signaled a change in atmosphere, allowing sound to become another storytelling device throughout the day.
The final act belonged to the dance floor
By nightfall, the wedding had evolved once again.
La Rubia Pincha DJ led the final, high-energy portion of the celebration, bringing the carefully constructed progression of music to its most energetic conclusion. What had begun with emotional ceremony songs and moved through folklore, funk, and soul ultimately ended on a packed dance floor.
For Luis and David, however, none of the creativity existed simply for spectacle. Beneath the bespoke fashion, wild florals, contrasting soundscapes, theatrical performances, and unexpected appearances was a celebration rooted in 17 years of shared history.
Theatre brought them together, and storytelling gave them a language for creating a wedding that could reflect who they had become. Instead of choosing a single theme, Luis and David created a series of experiences that revealed different parts of themselves and their relationship.
