A 13th century historic Italian villa and gardens lent the perfect backdrop to Kali and Josh’s elegant and chic garden party-inspired wedding. Following a courtyard ceremony, guests dined under string lights nestled in olive trees. After dinner, toasts, and dessert, guests moved to the barn and the DJ-saxophonist combo kept the party going all night long! Bridal style: A-line overskirt
Kali wore a stunning fitted satin dress by Sarah Seven with an A-line overskirt and delicately placed pearl bodice details.
Lightest pink peony bouquet
The bride carried a lush bouquet of the lightest pink peonies by Sabrina Barsanti.fiori.
Wedding party style: elegant garden party
The bridesmaids wore colorful satin and patterned dresses, perfect for the Italian garden party vibes, while the groom wore classic black-tie, emphasizing the elegance of the event.
Garden and olive tree-inspired florals
The florals by Sabrina Barsanti.fiori were inspired by the gardens and olive trees surrounding the Villa and were conceptualized by the florist from the neighboring village. The pastel arrangements complimented the terra-cotta and olive green of the villa, and included hydrangeas, orange and pink roses, and pops of blue. The bride’s bouquet featured just blush-colored peonies, her favorite flower.
On trend: Hugo Spritz cocktail
The aperitivo menu included hand crafted cocktails mocktails (featuring a Hugo Spritz!) and an elegant spread of local cheeses, Il Norcino, and passed appetizers. The selection of passed hors-d’oeuvres included foamed canapés with shrimp and chopped pistachios, medallion of cornmeal with burrata cheese and caramelized onion, and mignon stuffed mushrooms. Dinner was a five-course homage to Italy, featuring handmade pasta, flan of zucchini and zucchini flowers, and classic Chianina beef.
