This Blue California Wedding Is Romantic In All The Right Ways

Share

Happy bride and groom smiling at the camera during wedding in park

This blue California wedding is romantic in all the right ways. Let us just start off by saying that these two people are some of the best secret keepers that have ever lived. Sarah and Brad were technically already married before this beautiful day! In fact, they privately wed two years prior to their formal wedding day and somehow managed to keep it between themselves until Brad decided to give Sarah the wedding of her dreams with all of their family and friends from across the globe.

Everything about their day is stunningly chic and romantic. Light blue and greenery ruled the day and we love how perfectly they go together! Get a closer look at all the goodies from this wedding in the full gallery, photographed by Kayla Yestal.

She Moved, They Met, They Fell In Love

Sarah is an incredibly talented studio artist who moved from Brampton, Ontario to San Francisco to pursue her MFA at the San Francisco Art Institute. Shortly after her move, she and Brad met through a family event and California quickly became her new full time home with him by her side.

“I DO, TAKE TWO” FULL OF DIY DETAILS

Because of her background in art and design, Sarah decided to take on the task of creating all of her wedding details herself, from the hand dyed table numbers, to each calligraphed sign and decor piece. She had such a clear vision for her day, that they cleverly dubbed as their “I do, take two.” The resulting day ended up being one of the most relaxed yet elegant wedding days that I have ever witnessed, complete with their ceremony being officiated by a close personal friend who made welcoming Canada jokes to break the ice!
