Elegant Outdoor Wedding: Crystal Chandeliers & White Marble Dream

Share

Bride and bridesmaids in flowing pastel gowns outdoors

The bride’s beautiful vision for her big day was elegant, but not stuffy, and just classic. Both her and her hubby both wanted it outdoors and she had this vision in her head that she could not really explain to anyone, but she knew exactly what she wanted and just kept telling her husband to trust her. He did and it turned out flawless!

If you ask him it was “rustic” but instead of wine barrels and mason
jars they had crystal chandeliers and white marble. The end result was a dream. Check out all of the details in the full gallery, photographed by Brooke Borough Photography & Dustin Waller.

The Perfect Wedding Venue

I emailed just about every venue from Orange County to Santa Barbara in
our budget and we looked at a bunch of places but nothing was “it”.
Until we went to Hummingbird at the urging of my mom. I had grown up
going there, riding in clinics and lessons. When they drove us around
the corner into the courtyard I literally froze and my whole vision came
all together for me in that one spot…this was it. This was exactly
what I had been looking for. The lights, the candles, the flowers,
everyone dancing the night away and everyone that was there with us knew
it.

Keeping Different Sets Of Traditions Alive

The most important thing to us during the wedding was keeping it our
day. Having things the way we wanted them, I tirelessly researched and
interviewed vendors to find the perfect ones for our style and the style
of the wedding. Also, keeping our family traditions known. He is
Jewish and I am Catholic. He had always expected to get married in a
temple and I had always expected to get married in a Church. So when
that wasn’t going to happen for either of us it became important to keep
our religious traditions incorporated. We did it through a Jewish
ceremony given by a rabbi and a Catholic priest, and I carried my
Grandmothers’ rosaries on my bouquet.

Favorite Memory: The First Look

So hard to choose a favorite memory. The whole day was just incredible.
For me, mine was our first look. It was so incredibly special to me and
I couldn’t stop smiling I was just so excited to see him. We popped a
bottle of champagne we got for our engagement and enjoyed it
together. Also just being surrounded by friends and family and seeing
everyone have such a good time and enjoying themselves.

Grab Your Kleenex, He’s A Sweetheart

From the Groom:
My Favorite memory was the ceremony and our first dance – when I said “I
do” – she was finally my wife – after almost 2 years as my fiance and 3
as my girlfriend I wanted nothing more than to call her my wife. When
we made the grand entrance into the reception and I heard them welcome
Mr & Mrs Hirsch, it gave me the chills – my dream had finally come
true.

During the planning the most important thing for me was that Mary had
everything she wanted to have for her picture perfect day – even though
some things didn’t sound right to me at the end of the wedding I looked
back and realized yes she is always right – I just wanted my bride to be happy.
