Their Love Story

Jessica and Anthony’s love story began in the early years of college, during a summer job that would quietly change both of their lives. Anthony remembers the moment clearly—he was instantly drawn to Jessica’s blonde hair and striking blue eyes. Jessica, on the other hand, noticed something different: a professionally dressed guy with a well-kept beard who stood out for his motivation and work ethic. She could tell right away that he had potential. It wasn’t until one simple moment, leaving work together one day, that everything shifted. As they talked, Jessica realized how genuinely sweet and caring Anthony was, and what started as admiration quickly turned into something deeper. Their connection only grew stronger when summer ended and they returned to separate colleges. Distance didn’t slow them down—it revealed just how much they meant to each other. Weekend after weekend, they boarded buses and trains just to spend time together, making every visit count. Saying goodbye never got easier, but Anthony’s steady presence made Jessica feel secure, even during tearful farewells on the train platform.

Over the years, Jessica and Anthony discovered how much they shared: a passion for traveling and exploring new cities, an enthusiasm for food that naturally followed them wherever they went—from local specialties to traditional cuisines around the world, meals became another way for them to connect and create memories together. After eleven years side by side, they decided it was finally time to get married. To them, marriage was never about the paperwork; it was about celebrating a bond they already knew would last forever. Best friends at heart, they chose to prioritize experiences, travel, and living life fully together.

The Destination: Sicily

When it came to choose where to say their vows, the answer felt obvious. They dreamed of an intimate ceremony abroad, just the two of them, somewhere beautiful and meaningful. Italy captured their hearts immediately, and Sicily felt especially right, as Anthony’s Italian heritage traces back to the island.

The Vision: Raw and Untouched

Choosing the perfect location wasn’t easy. Jessica and Anthony were torn between rooftop terraces overlooking historic townscapes—tiled roofs and church domes glowing in the sun—and raw, natural settings that felt untouched and intimate. With help from their planner, Sicilian Wedding Lab, they found the perfect balance at Torre di Scopello, an ancient tower perched dramatically on a cliff above the sea.

Their ceremony took place on the tower’s rooftop terrace, with the endless blue of the Mediterranean stretching out below them. After exchanging the vows and popping a bottle of champagne, Jessica and Anthony shared their first dance in complete privacy—an intimate moment captured from above by a drone, creating one of the most iconic images of the day.

Getting Ready

Hidden inside the tower is a small, cozy apartment where Jessica spent her bridal morning. Between hair and makeup and quiet moments of reflection, she wrote her vows by the window, framed by one of the most breathtaking views of Scopello Bay!

The Fashion

Reminiscent of ancient Roman statues, Jessica chose an elegant column gown with sumptuous draping. Anthony also dressed up for the occasion, sporting a timeless and beautifully tailored black suit.

The Ride[s]

Anthony’s love for vintage luxury cars added another unforgettable detail. Following the ceremony, the newlyweds slipped into a black convertible Mercedes and drove off toward the port of Castellammare, where a yacht awaited them.

Ditching The Cake

Their celebration continued at sea, sailing along Scopello’s rugged coastline with champagne in hand and slices of local sfincione in place of a traditional wedding cake—ending the day exactly as it began: effortlessly romantic, deeply personal, and uniquely theirs.
