This fun couple wanted their wedding to feel like them and their life together, vibrant and colorful! Since travel is a huge part of their lives they knew a destination wedding was a must. They have a great love for Mexican culture and landscape so Mexico was the perfect choice!
They fell upon the choice of Sayulita by friends suggestions and it was
pure magic and the perfect pick! They got married on the top of a cliff with the ocean and town of Sayulita
just below them. See it all for yourself in the full gallery, photographed by Dekker Photography.

Pair Mexican Decor With Bohemian Style
From the bride: We wanted it to feel authentic to Mexico with the colors and style but
also bohemian. On each of the chairs for the ceremony we laid palm fans
and teal painted maracas. The florist lined the aisle with beautiful
protea flowers and just to the side was a donkey draped in flowers
serving tequila shots! We used cactus and wood blocks to write the table
numbers.
The flowers were really special, and one of the most important parts of
the planning for us. Shawn and I have a love for plants and flowers.
Our florist made our ceremony arch using bougainvillea which is a flower
we both love. When guests entered the palapa the entry alcoves were
strung with hanging flower curtains.

Expect The Unexpected To Happen And Breathe
My advice to future brides and grooms is try not to have too
many expectations that will lead you to disappointment. The day will not
go exactly as planned and that is the most beautiful part! Remember
that you are surrounded by everyone that loves you and that is all that
matters! We arrived to Mexico 2 days before
the wedding and our luggage (with EVERYTHING inside) didn’t make the
nonstop flight, even though we checked in hours before! Shawn kept me
calm since all I wanted to do was freak out and panic! Luckily all the
luggage was arranged to be delivered to our house we rented a few hours
before our welcome dinner.

did not have a planner or designer, I am a professional visual
