Rain On Your Wedding Day May Not Be As Bad As It Sounds

As your outdoor wedding grows nearer and nearer, you'll undoubtedly find yourself scrolling the weather app to see exactly what Mother Nature has planned for your nuptials. Well, we're here to tell you that as scary as that little raindrop graphic may seem, it's really not all that bad. Ask this couple, they'll tell you that a little rain on their wedding day actually added to the ambiance. For their moody fall wedding, they already had a few Halloween-themed surprises up their sleeve, but it's the stormy skies that ended up making their photos all the more epic.

Bishop Farmstead is a lovely barn venue located on acres of farmland and the beautiful red color worked perfectly with their fall color palette. Aside from the stunning bouquets and ceremony arrangements, Tame Florals made sure that everyone felt special on this happy day, including the honored alpaca guests. The photographer, Bryan Weber was more excited than nervous when he saw the clouds rolling in. Together with the couple, he ran into the storm to capture some of the coolest photos we've seen yet. A STORMY START

Rain On Your Wedding Day May Not Be As Bad As It Sounds

Ready for a wedding with style, passion, and flair? Jess and Brett had a unique and creative vision for their rustic wedding at Bishop Farmstead in South Jersey and executed it perfectly. From the bride’s signature bright red lips and voluminous hair, styled by Lauren Fletcher and Dana Bosco, to her classy Catherine Deane "Lita" gown, Jess was a stunning bride! Tame Florals masterfully brought vibrant colors to the day with their lavish decorations and Jess’s gorgeous flower crown and bouquet. Brett in his brown three-piece tweed suit from Abitto and his crimson tie from Daisy And Oak Studio was the perfect complement to Jess’s red accents. Bryan Weber Photography artfully captured all the color, style, and unique moments of this magical fall wedding. After a series of first looks with her bridesmaids, father, and soon-to-husband, Jess and Brett took some time alone for some intimate portraits. Later during wedding party photos, the most incredible stormy clouds rolled in overhead and the couple and their crew quickly added the masquerade masks they had brought while Bryan Weber created some truly epic images utilizing the storm. Despite their ominous appearance, the clouds passed by with barely a drop!

A HALLOWEEN DANCE PARTY

After a very smooth and relaxed start to the day, the ceremony began with an unusual processional led by two alpacas! The guests were cracking up at this unexpected surprise. Jess and Brett had a sweet and emotional ceremony, tearing up as they read the heartfelt vows they had written for each other. Afterward, they got some more time with their alpaca guests (Jess absolutely loves farm animals) and took some additional portraits utilizing Bishop Farmstead’s big red barn. Cocktail hour featured the vintage VW Metro Photo Bus and delicious food from Jeffrey A. Miller Catering. During the reception, Jess entered in style, dressed in a whole new series of details (celestial-inspired jewelry, a custom crown from Batcakes Couture, shoes by Roni Kantor, and a gorgeous green and gold negligee from Talulah Blue Burlesque). After their first dance and parent dances, Jess and Brett got all their guests to don masks for a Halloween dance! Bishop Farmstead was the perfect setting for the rest of the night as Jess, Brett, and their guests ate, drank, talked, and danced the night away.
