Hair and Makeup Advice
Do your beauty trials early! Perhaps one of the most stressful decisions was who would do my hair and makeup. I toyed with the idea of doing my own makeup on the day of but friends advised me that worrying about makeup on my wedding day could prove to be more stressful.
My photographer was using film, so one thing my makeup artist Mark Chi said was that with film photography, makeup appears much softer than with digital photography and normal makeup applications may not show up the same on film photography.
Wedding Food To Remember
We selected food that we thought would fit a variety of tastes. We wanted our cake to be memorable and different than what we’ve normally had at other weddings so we choose a white buttermilk cake with raspberry conserve and passion fruit cream filling. It was such a huge hit that one of my bridesmaids was able to claim four pieces of cake!
