Wedding inspiration: Swan Grace
Photographed by Darin Images, every design decision centered around a concept the couple called “Swan Grace.” Inspired by the swan as a symbol of devotion, purity, and enduring love, the celebration embraced an elegant palette of ivory, warm stone, soft taupe, and rich forest green. The understated colors allowed the surrounding landscape and historic architecture of Bloomories Chiang Mai to shine while creating a timeless atmosphere that felt both sophisticated and welcoming.
Featured Thai designer: Wasin Finery
Tammy’s gown, designed by renowned Thai bridal designer Wasin Finery, perfectly embodied the vision. Its sculptural silhouette and flowing movement echoed the quiet elegance that inspired every detail throughout the day.
Northern Thai wedding traditions
The ceremony celebrated Thai culture through two meaningful traditions that connected the couple to generations before them.
The day began with the traditional wrist-tying ceremony, a Buddhist-rooted blessing in which elders and monks tied sacred white threads around the couple’s wrists. Symbolizing unity, protection, and the blessing of loved ones, the ceremony unfolded beneath a breathtaking floral installation of cascading white blooms framed by floor-to-ceiling ivory drapery.
Later, the couple participated in the Northern Thai rice-pounding ceremony, a cherished tradition representing prosperity, abundance, and the beginning of married life together. Set beneath a white wooden arch overlooking the surrounding mountains, the ritual beautifully reflected the region’s agricultural heritage while celebrating the couple’s shared future.

Every detail balanced luxury with a strong sense of place, allowing guests to experience the hospitality and traditions that make Northern Thailand so distinctive.
Throughout the reception, the floral arrangements echoed the celebration’s neutral palette, reinforcing the graceful aesthetic inspired by the Swan Grace concept.
