An Indiana wedding at The Commons with the perfect pops of poppy red

Matt and Kinsey’s stunning spring wedding day in downtown Columbus, Indiana at The Commons was full of personal touches and vibrant pops of red (thanks to Pomp & Bloom!) for a truly Instagram-worthy celebration! Packed with elegant yet modern design inspiration, this duo (with the help of Pink Farms Wedding Planning) embraced their favorite wedding trends while still reflecting their personalities for the perfect celebration of their love.

Start the day with a wedding workout!

The groom kicked off the day at Mill Race Park with his friends on a pre-wedding morning bike ride throughout Columbus, all captured by photographers Adam & Becca. Both Kinsey and Matt love cycling, so it was really special to be able to capture this part of the day.

Meanwhile, Kinsey and her bridesmaids got ready at The Commons, decked head to toe in Jenny Yoo from Blue House Bridal and Bella Bridesmaids. It was impossible not to be obsessed with the modern invitation suite Kinsey made. These same modern touches continued throughout the wedding through signage, decor, and more. It was the perfect complement to the romantic, elegant vibe of their wedding day.

The whole day was filled with laughter and genuine joy as Kinsey and Matt celebrated with their friends and family. Capturing candid moments was all too easy because it was so obvious how happy everyone was to be there to celebrate this love story.  The incredible natural lighting of their ceremony space only helped to create stunning wedding portraits of the couple’s “I do’s!”

Playful post-ceremony portraits

The bride and groom rode the Indy Trolley with their photographer through Columbus and stopped at the beautiful BCSC Administration Building for some fun post-ceremony portraits before heading back to the reception filled with rentals courtesy of Southern Classic Rentals.
