Modern Cacti Wedding In Santa Fe

Romantic desert themed wedding

We just love desert themed weddings, and you’ll be head over heels for this next wedding that took place at the Four Seasons Santa Fe Rancho Encantado in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The gorgeous decor featured shades of blue throughout, and one killer cacti paddle escort card wall!

It’s no wonder why we love it all, and thanks to the talented Cameron & Kelly Studio, you will too! Get a first hand glimpse of the full day when you visit the gallery here, and be sure to pin your heart out!

Destination Santa Fe

From Cameron & Kelly Studio:  The bride, Jaclyn knew she wanted a fun destination guest experience away from her home of Dallas, Texas and Santa Fe fit the bill. The Four Seasons Santa Fe was a perfect fit because it's not too small and not too large and all the guests could stay, relax, and party in one place. Jaclyn dreamed up some charming southwest details like a giant cactus "escort cards" display, a guest-created "love rock cross" mounted in their "chapel" and wish bracelets wrapped around the program.

Creating a chapel

From the bride: It was important to us that everyone could stay in one place for the entire weekend, but Blake and I always thought we'd get married in a church, so we decided to transform Four Season's Terra into our chapel. I saw it for the first time walking down the aisle, and it was magic - dimly lit and flooded with candlelit and a lit fireplace, beautiful floral walls, our Love Rock Cross mounted on the fireplace and the saxophonist playing some of our favorites. It was such a beautiful moment with all of the people that make our hearts the most happy in one space

Cacti wall

I knew right away a grid of cacti would be a cool escort wall. It was so fun to see guests enjoy the cactus wall, use it as a photo backdrop, and grab their paddles off the wall to take with them- many guests even replanted the paddle once they were home :) It was from that minimal and geometric inspiration that we design the dance floor, blind emboss invitation suite and the WILLBRAND monogram for the napkins, stirs and welcome baskets.
