The bride wasn’t the only thing glowing at this shades-of-white shoot

wedding dress with detachable sleeves

A monochromatic white wedding will never get old. For this inspo, the designers created a soft, weightless, and dreamy atmosphere amidst a rough, industrial wedding venue. They chose to keep the look simple with not too many different flowers. However, they added feathers to keep the design feeling airy and weightless, as well as some crystals to bring some mystical elements into this concept. Even more amazingly, the two dresses used for the shoot were customized dresses for the bride and this concept. The model couple, Elif & Mert, are actually a young couple who got married in their early twenties!

Two custom dresses let the bride express all sides of her personality

Bride and model Elif had two custom-made dresses, created by designer All Around You (Annette Basilius), who specializes in custom wedding gowns. The first dress included puff sleeves that could be worn with the dress as desired, or removed for a different look. It also included a long tulle skirt and pailettes for a glowy effect. The second dress was a simple cut, sequined gown that included a touch of feathers, especially shown off through the feather collar. It was the perfect second dress for the party!

Monochromatic does not mean boring when you play with textures and luxury materials

A monochromatic white color scheme is a timeless design, but to keep in line with current trends, the designers wanted to provide new inspiration for elegant, modern, romantic weddings, with a glowing effect. That is where the idea for the white color scheme to also be inspired by the idea of being "weightless" came into play. This monochromatic design is anything but classic! The design was elegant and pure, yet not too structured and stiff. The fabrics and candles created an incredible atmosphere, and the simple white roses and baby's breath blended traditional and trendy seamlessly. To bring some more glow into the bright and weightless concept, the designers added crystals! They reflected the purity of nature and were a great contrast to the weightless feathers and fabrics throughout the design.

Let them eat cake... their own personalized cakes!

For the shoot, the designers had two cakes, with two different shapes and two different flavors to complement the wedding couple. The square cake was the cake designed for the bride. The fancy decor mirrored her dress and represented her uniqueness. This cake in particular was an olive oil lemon cake with lemon curd and cream cheese filling. The round cake, on the other hand, was the cake designed for the groom. It was a bit more of a classic with a touch of extravagance. This cake was a chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and raspberries. It's not hard to imagine that these cakes were absolutely delicious!
