Rich Colors and decor

To set the scene for an intimate rehearsal dinner, we headed to Ojai to balance a West Coast lightness with a classic Old World style. Using a rich color palette as our basis, we added antique brass and wood elements. Dish Wish provided patterned china and gorgeous tableware and  Going Steady Studios topped it off with a loose and lush centerpiece, flowering jasmine, and olive branches.

From farm to table

Chef Ariane Aumont of Hello Le Picnic brought some California abundance to the table, sourcing her ingredients from the nearby Rio Gozo Farm and created dishes that were as beautiful to look at as they were to taste. An olive oil station showcased the bounty from local orchards.

Mini treats

Keeping with the theme, we created an outdoor bar and dessert table, with prickly pear cocktails, miniature wedding cakes and a Popsicle “bouquet”. Everything was adorned with fresh florals, textured tapestries and an ornate candelabra to cast a warm glow for guests to celebrate into the night.
