This intimate wedding took place on the beautiful Amalfi Coast in Italy & was brought together by an amazing international team of creative partners. Designed by IDO Events, this wedding features luxurious modern details against the historical Villa Astor. Featuring colorful florals, charcoal linens, and two bridal fashions – this celebration was a truly romantic affair!

Getting ready at Villa Astor
The bride started the day by getting ready in a stunning Villa Astor suite. After a luxurious clawfoot bath, the bride was pampered by SL Makeup & Hair. The hair and makeup artist opted for a fresh and romantic bridal look. She adorned lingerie by BH Glich and lace robe by Laruder Couture before putting on her unique bridal gown.

The bride’s unique floral wedding dress is by Eva Lendel via Emily Brautstudio; her jewelry is from Gibson Bespoke.
The bride’s colorful bouquet was created by Sartoria Floreale.
The groom’s attire is from Gemini Napoli.
Cliffside column ceremony
The villa’s ceremony scenery with its cliffs, waterfront views, and art was already so naturally stunning, that the design team did not want to overpower the existing beauty. Villa Astor is located up high on a cliff overlooking the Bay of Naples, brimming with ancient sculptures and ceramics – the Roman heritage of the region. The team was inspired by Bella Italia, the high cliffs of Sorrento and the magnificent grounds of the villa with its wild romantic, untamed gardens full of atmosphere and historical architecture.
“For the ceremony setting we used the beautiful columns that are framing the magnificent water view. The lush florals seem to grow organically from the floor along the columns. We wanted to create a look that feels natural and not too styled. The color palette for this project includes soft warm tones with a strong charcoal grey as a contrast. The guests found their seats on grey velvet poufs arranged asymmetrically. Just when you think the views cannot get any better the guests were invited to join the couple on the rooftop terrace for champagne and finger food. This is the perfect spot to let it all sink in and relax in the sunshine.” – IDO Events

A textural journey reception
The lower terrace was used for the dinner where a beautiful set up was created by IDO Events & Sartoria Floreale. Colorful, fresh and timeless aesthetics were present with a little twist of vintage details. The design blended historical with modern elements, captured effortlessly by Vivid Symphony.
“For this project we wanted to take the historic nature of the villa and combine it with modern aesthetics. We always try to incorporate a little twist or play with contrasts in our design concepts. We love nothing more than high-end simplicity and quality materials, blending modern with classic elements to create something timeless and fresh. Textures played a very important role for this design. We combined rough rocks with elegant velvet, and lush modern blooms with historical artwork.” – IDO Events
Second bridal look for sunset
The bride changed into a second, modern jumpsuit look for portraits around the villa during golden hour. Her chic style was paired well with sculpted bridal hat.
