Bridgerton romance met The Secret Garden whimsy at a Chicago estate

flowy tent for garden wedding

Maggie and Ramsey met at college at the University of Missouri, fondly know as Mizzou! Ramsey and Maggie were set up for Ramsey's fraternity formal by a mutual friend who ultimately became one of Maggie's bridesmaids. For the proposal, Ramsey booked a NYE weekend trip at an Airbnb cabin in Minnesota called the "Off Grid Inn." He planned the weekend just for the two of them, but of course couldn't leave their Cavalier King Charles, Basil, at home! When the 3 went on a beautiful, snowy hike, Ramsey stopped the group at a waterfall where he proposed. The couple's wedding vision was a garden party at Montebello Estate, and boy did they deliver! Bridgerton met The Secret Garden with romantic details, whimsy, colorful pastels, delicate flowers, and a fairytale vibe. Glamorous garden details meant delicate pops of spring color against the white tented backdrop

Stunning floral details from Ki House Florals that acted as pops of color against a white and natural backdrop helped created the secret garden feel for Maggie and Ramsey's reception.  Under a white tent with a sage green checkered dance floor, a watercolor seating chart, adorable pink phone audio guestbook, and so many other delicate details truly brought guests into a luxury garden atmosphere.

A late-night reception dance party has to have snacks and a third outfit change!

The couple and planner Stunning and Brilliant Events channeled all of their attention to detail into also creating the best party vibe for the late-night reception!  After changing out her ribbed sleeve for bow-tie straps, the bride changed once again into a short, strapless lace party dress with detachable lace puff sleeves.  The bride and groom served guests late-night snacks, including soft pretzels and paper cones of fries.  With a little extra sustenance, everyone was able to celebrate this special couple all throughout the evening!
