The city got sunny at this Vogue-inspired oceanside resort wedding
Nick and Kailey had known each other through mutual friends in New York City for many years, but they had never really spent any time together until one sunny weekend when their two groups of friends collided again and the bride realized: "Wait, do I like Nick?!" The feeling was mutual, and it wasn't long after that they were on their first date at Salt & Charcoal in Williamsburg, BK. Their second date was a bit more unconventional, however! When Nick asked Kailey out on their second date, her mom happened to be in town for the NYC marathon. Kailey was so excited about Nick, though, that she decided to just invite him to dinner with her and her mom. Looking back, she realized he was probably super stressed meeting her mom on date number two, but the vibe was instantly so comfortable that it felt meant to be! A few years and a dream engagement ring later, their wedding day arrived.

One of the couple's design inspirations was a sunny vacation fit for the pages of Vogue
Inspired by beautiful private beaches, sunny family destination vacations, and a “classic Vogue” style, this Key Largo wedding planned by Blue Orchid Events channeled an elevated, elegant sun and sand vibe that is evident everywhere at the Ocean Reef Club. The ceremony took place in front of the show-stopping open water views of “the point."
