Tiffany and Titan traveled from Hong Kong to COMO Point Yamu for a destination wedding shaped by one extraordinary element: the view.
With panoramic blue water stretching into the distance, the Phuket setting offered exactly what they wanted—a celebration planned with ME Events Phuket and photographed by Mary Ann Art & Photography that felt romantic, intimate, and personal without competing with the landscape. Their design followed the same quiet confidence that defines their relationship, using soft florals from IAMFLOWER, thoughtful details, and changing light to move naturally from an airy ceremony into a glowing evening reception.
Their story began just as simply. A small “sorry” exchanged at a doorway unexpectedly became the first moment in a relationship built on patience, humor, kindness, and the comfort of finding home in another person.

A ceremony framed by the Andaman Sea

Rather than trying to outshine the setting, the ceremony design worked with it. A lush floral arch framed Tiffany and Titan against the endless sea, overflowing with hydrangeas, orchids, garden roses, delphiniums, and seasonal blooms in soft blush, lavender, ivory, butter yellow, and peach.

Along the aisle, meadow-style florals created the feeling of walking through a garden while maintaining open sightlines toward the water.

The effect was abundant without feeling heavy – a soft layer of color set against the clean blue horizon.

Detail we love: handwritten Vows

Some of the most memorable moments came not from the design, but from what Tiffany and Titan said to one another. Their handwritten vows centered on the quieter parts of marriage: the comfort of coming home, choosing one another every day, and building a life through patience and understanding. Tiffany’s playful humor brought laughter between the more emotional moments, leaving guests alternating between smiles and tears.

Colorful florals that brought dimension
Color brought softness and dimension to the modern architecture of COMO Point Yamu.

Hydrangeas, orchids, garden roses, delphiniums, and seasonal blooms were layered in pastel shades that felt fresh against the tropical surroundings. Butter yellow and peach added warmth to the blush, lavender, and ivory palette, keeping the floral design from feeling overly formal.

The ceremony flowers also served a second purpose later in the evening, allowing the design to evolve rather than disappear once the vows were complete.

A reception under thousands of fairy lights

As the sun went down, the wedding changed character completely. Florals from the ceremony were repurposed throughout the dinner setting, carrying the garden-inspired design into the reception while creating continuity between the two spaces.

Thousands of fairy lights suspended overhead transformed the evening into something far more intimate, while abundant candles brought a warm glow to the tables below.

Flowing linens and oversized chair bows softened the setting further, creating movement against the venue’s clean architectural lines.

The transition from bright sea views to candlelight and fairy lights gave guests two distinct experiences within the same celebration.

Refined tablescape details

The smaller details brought personality to the refined reception design. Butterfly escort cards added a delicate, whimsical touch, while custom stationery and sage-green napkins introduced subtle contrast among the pastel florals. Layered place settings and soft centerpieces completed the tables without making them feel crowded. Nothing needed to shout for attention. Instead, each element rewarded a closer look.

An elegant wedding focused on the simple things
Tiffany and Titan’s wedding never relied on spectacle to make an impression. Its beauty came from the way each decision supported the story they wanted to tell—from preserving the panoramic sea views and repurposing ceremony flowers to writing vows about the ordinary acts that make a marriage meaningful.

By the end of the evening, the wedding had moved from a sunlit garden overlooking the water to an intimate dinner beneath thousands of lights. Yet through every transition, its heart remained the same: two people celebrating the quiet joy of continuing to choose one another.
